Terms of Service

By accessing or using deCuisine (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

deCuisine is a meal-planning platform that allows users to browse and create recipes, plan weekly meals, generate grocery lists, and collaborate through organizations. The Service is available via web and mobile applications.

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.

You retain ownership of any recipes, meal plans, images, and other content you create or upload to the Service (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant deCuisine a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Service. Public recipes and meal plans may be viewed and forked by other users.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated means to scrape or collect data from the Service
• Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content

Certain features require a paid subscription (“Pro” for individuals, “Business” or “Enterprise” for organizations). Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law.

Organization owners and administrators are responsible for managing membership, permissions, and content within their organizations. deCuisine is not responsible for disputes between organization members.

The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by deCuisine and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service or its content without prior written consent.

The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google OAuth for authentication and grocery store APIs. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. deCuisine is not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. deCuisine makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, deCuisine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
